The Model Blue Devils softball team scored 12 runs and limited the visiting Gordon Central Warriors to 0 in the Blue Devils league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Model improves its record to 2-4 on the year. The Blue Devils host Pepperell (Lindale, GA) to clash with the Dragons in a non-league game on Monday, August 21. The Dragons come into the game with a record of 1-1. Pepperell won 13-0 in their recent non-league game against Rome (Rome, GA)

In their next game, the Warriors clash with the Southeast Whitfield County Raiders (Dalton, GA) in a non-league game, on Monday, August 21. Gordon Central will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Raiders come into the game with a 1-4 record after their 5-2 non-league loss to Dade County (Trenton, GA).
