Texas High School Volleyball - Brazoswood nudged by Alvin

The Alvin Yellowjackets volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Brazoswood Buccaneers to 1 in the Yellowjackets non-league victory on Thursday.

The Yellowjackets now have a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sterling for a non-league game on Saturday, August 19. Alvin will meet a Rangers team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Bridge City (Bridge City, TX). The Rangers record now stands at 4-3.

The Buccaneers (2-4) will now prepare for their game against Dobie (Houston, TX). The Longhorns enter the non-league game with a 3-0 record. In their last game, Dobie nipped Crosby (Crosby, TX), 3-0, in a non-league game.
