Texas High School Volleyball - Weimar over Brazos

The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Weimar Wildcats (Weimar, TX) and the visiting Brazos Cougars (Wallis, TX), saw Weimar's volleyball squad beat Brazos by a tally of 2-0.

The Wildcats now have a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Goliad for a non-league test on Thursday, August 17. Weimar will confront a Tigers team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Flour Bluff (Corpus Christi, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 6-2.

The Cougars (6-8) will now prepare for their test against Rice Consolidated (Altair, TX). The Raiders enter the non-league test with a 5-5 record. In their last test, Rice Consolidated gained a win over Hitchcock (Hitchcock, TX), 3-1, in a non-league test.
