The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Polk County Wolverines (Columbus, NC) and the host Crest Chargers (Shelby, NC), saw Polk County's volleyball squad beat Crest by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Polk County upgrades its record to 2-0 on the year. The Wolverines travel to Crest (Shelby, NC) to play the Chargers in a non-league bout on Thursday, August 17. The Chargers go into the bout with a record of 1-0. Crest won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against R-S Central (Rutherfordton, NC)

The Chargers now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they host Polk County for a non-league bout on Thursday, August 17. Crest will play a Wolverines squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Pisgah (Canton, NC). The Wolverines record now stands at 1-0.
