North Carolina High School Volleyball - Forbush over Starmount

August 17, 2023: East Bend, NC 27018

The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Forbush Falcons (East Bend, NC) and the visiting Starmount Rams (Boonville, NC), saw Forbush's volleyball squad beat Starmount by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Forbush upgrades its record to 3-0 on the year. The Falcons travel to Alleghany (Sparta, NC) to play the Trojans in a non-league bout on Tuesday, August 22. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 1-2. Alleghany lost 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against North Surry (Mount Airy, NC)

The Rams now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to North Wilkes for a non-league bout on Monday, August 21. Starmount will play a Vikings squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Hibriten (Lenoir, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 3-0.
