Union County Patriots (Liberty, IN) supporters left the game in high spirits Thursday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting Knightstown Panthers (Knightstown, IN), 3-0 in a league match.

Next up, the Patriots clash with the Indianapolis Bishop Chatard Trojans (Indianapolis, IN) in a non-league match, on Saturday, August 19. Union County will attempt to advance on its 4-1 season record. The Trojans come into the match with a 1-1 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Avon (Avon, IN).

With the loss, Knightstown drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Blue River Valley (Mt. Summit, IN) to clash with the Vikings in a non-league match on Saturday, August 19. The Vikings come into the match with a record of 1-1. Blue River Valley won 3-0 in their recent non-league match against Anderson Prep Academy (Anderson, IN)
