The Northeast Jones Tigers topped the visiting Wayne County War Eagles volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Tigers now have a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Choctaw Central for a non-league test on Saturday, August 19. Northeast Jones will confront a Warriors team coming off a 2-1 league loss to West Lauderdale (Collinsville, MS). The Warriors record now stands at 2-4.
The War Eagles (0-4) will now prepare for their test against Sacred Heart (Hattiesburg, MS). The Crusaders enter the non-league test with a 1-3 record. In their last test, Sacred Heart dropped by Purvis (Purvis, MS), 3-0, in a non-league test.
