North Carolina High School Volleyball - Pender overwhelmed by Union

In Thursday's non-league battle, the visiting Union Spartans volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Pender Patriots.

The Spartans (3-0) will now prepare for their battle against James Kenan (Warsaw, NC). The Tigers come into the non-league battle with a 0-2 record. In their last battle, James Kenan lost by Hobbton (Newton Grove, NC), 3-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Patriots encounter the Laney Buccaneers (Wilmington, NC) in a non-league battle, on Monday, August 21. Pender will attempt to advance on its 1-2 season record. The Buccaneers come into the battle with a 2-0 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Heide Trask (Rocky Point, NC).
