The Petal Panthers topped the host Perry Central Bulldogs volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Panthers now have a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sumrall for a non-league test on Tuesday, August 22. Petal will confront a Bobcats team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Northeast Lauderdale (Meridian, MS). The Bobcats record now stands at 4-4.
The Bulldogs (0-2) will now prepare for their test against Tylertown (Tylertown, MS). The Chiefs enter the Class 3 Region 8 test with a 0-2 record. In their last test, Tylertown was knocked off by Salem (Tylertown, MS), 2-0, in a non-league test.
