The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Vance County Vipers (Henderson, NC) and the visiting Triangle Math & Science Tigers (Apex, NC), saw Vance County's volleyball squad beat Triangle Math & Science by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, Vance County upgrades its record to 1-1 on the year. The Vipers travel to Bunn (Bunn, NC) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Monday, August 21. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 1-1. Bunn lost 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Louisburg (Louisburg, NC)

The Tigers now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they host Research Triangle for a non-league bout on Tuesday, August 22.
