The Mannford Pirates softball team scored 5 runs and held the visiting Muskogee Roughers to 3 in the Pirates non-league win on Saturday.
The Pirates now sport a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tecumseh for a non-league battle on Monday, August 19. Mannford will encounter a Savages team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Weatherford (Weatherford, OK). The Savages record now stands at 4-2.
With the loss, Muskogee moves to 3-5 on the season. The Roughers host Broken Arrow (Broken Arrow, OK) to encounter the Tigers in a non-league battle on Monday, August 19. The Tigers come into the battle with a record of 2-1.
