In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Iola Bulldogs volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Lorena Leopards.

The Bulldogs (5-1) will now prepare for their challenge against New Waverly (New Waverly, TX). The Bulldogs enter the non-league challenge with a 0-5 record. In their last challenge, New Waverly was beaten by Mumford (Mumford, TX), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Leopards meet the Jarrell Cougars (Jarrell, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, August 20. Lorena will attempt to upgrade on its 6-2 season record. The Cougars enter the challenge with a 5-5 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Fossil Ridge (Keller, TX).
