With the win, May River improves its record to 5-2 on the season. The Sharks travel to Davidson Day (Davidson, NC) to encounter the Patriots in a non-league battle on Saturday, August 17. The Patriots go into the battle with a record of 4-0. Davidson Day won 3-0 in their recent non-league battle against Greensboro Day School (Greensboro, NC)
The Thoroughbreds now own a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Brookland-Cayce for a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 3.
