The Firebirds (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against North Johnston (Kenly, NC). The Panthers enter the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, North Johnston defeated Smithfield-Selma (Smithfield, NC), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Warriors encounter the Southeast Raleigh Bulldogs (Raleigh, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, August 23. East Wake will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Enloe (Raleigh, NC).
