In Thursday's non-league outing, the visiting Schley County Wildcats softball team scored a nice 9-1 win over the Crawford County Eagles.
Coming up next, the Wildcats encounter the Bleckley County Royals (Cochran, GA) in a non-league outing, on Monday, August 22. Schley County will attempt to upgrade on its 3-1 season record. The Royals enter the outing with a 4-4 record after their 10-0 non-league loss to Lanier County (Lakeland, GA).
The Eagles (3-4) will now prepare for their outing against Heard County (Franklin, GA). The Braves enter the 1A D-I Region 4 outing with a 3-4 record. In their last outing, Heard County was routed by Appling County (Baxley, GA), 5-1, in a non-league outing.
