Spalding Jaguars (Griffin, GA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Jasper County Hurricanes (Monticello, GA), 16-8 in a non-league challenge.

The Jaguars now own a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they host Hampton for a non-league challenge on Monday, August 22.

With the loss, Jasper County falls to 1-4 on the campaign. The Hurricanes travel to Georgia Military College (Milledgeville, GA) to battle the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Monday, August 22. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 2-1. Georgia Military College won 9-2 in their recent league challenge against Johnson County (Wrightsville, GA)
