The Tattnall County Warriors nipped the host Toombs County Bulldogs softball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Thursday's league battle.

The Warriors (1-4) will now prepare for their battle against Bulloch Academy (Statesboro, GA). The Gators go into the non-league battle with a 3-1 record. In their last battle, Bulloch Academy got by Robert Toombs Christian Academy (Lyons, GA), 4-1, in a non-league challenge.

With the loss, Toombs County falls to 2-2 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Treutlen (Soperton, GA) to battle the Vikings in a non-league challenge on Monday, August 22. The Vikings enter the challenge with a record of 0-2.
