North Carolina High School Volleyball - Fuquay - Varina over Athens Drive

The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Fuquay - Varina Bengals (Fuquay-Varina, NC) and the visiting Athens Drive Jaguars (Raleigh, NC), saw Fuquay - Varina's volleyball squad beat Athens Drive by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Fuquay - Varina upgrades its record to 1-1 on the year. The Bengals travel to Middle Creek (Apex, NC) to play the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Monday, August 22. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 1-0. Middle Creek won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Willow Spring (Fuquay-Varina, NC)

The Jaguars now own a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Apex for a non-league bout on Monday, August 22. Athens Drive will play a Cougars squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Broughton (Raleigh, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 2-0.
