Sinton Pirates (Sinton, TX) supporters left the game in high spirits Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad triumph over the visiting Bishop Badgers (Bishop, TX), 2-0 in a non-league contest.

Next up, the Pirates battle the Anderson Trojans (Austin, TX) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, August 20. Sinton will attempt to better on its 8-5 season record. The Trojans go into the contest with a 10-3 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Tuloso-Midway (Corpus Christi, TX).

With the loss, Bishop moves to 3-4 on the year. The Badgers travel to Alice (Alice, TX) to battle the Coyotes in a 4A Region IV District 31 contest on Thursday, August 18. The Coyotes go into the contest with a record of 1-3.
