The North Gaston Wildcats volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Burns Bulldogs to 0 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Thursday.

The Wildcats now have a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host East Gaston for a non-league game on Tuesday, August 23. North Gaston will meet a Warriors team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to South Point (Belmont, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 0-2.

The Bulldogs (0-2) will now prepare for their game against East Rutherford (Forest City, NC). The Cavaliers enter the non-league game with a 3-0 record. In their last game, East Rutherford gained a win over Avery County (Newland, NC), 3-0, in a non-league game.
