The Cypress Park Tigers topped the host Dekaney Wildcats volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Tigers now have a 3-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Concordia Lutheran for a non-league test on Thursday, August 18. Cypress Park will confront a Crusaders team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to St. John XXIII (Katy, TX). The Crusaders record now stands at 5-6.
The Wildcats (0-3) will now prepare for their test against Fort Bend Elkins (Missouri City, TX). The Knights enter the non-league test with a 6-5 record. In their last test, Fort Bend Elkins gained a win over King (Houston, TX), 3-0, in a non-league test.
