Georgia High School Volleyball - Murray County edged by Pickens

The Pickens Dragons volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Murray County Indians to 1 in the Dragons non-league victory on Thursday.

The Dragons now have a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cass for a non-league game on Thursday, August 18. Pickens will confront a Colonels team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Gordon Central (Calhoun, GA). The Colonels record now stands at 2-0.

The Indians (3-1) will now prepare for their game against Cass (White, GA). The Colonels enter the non-league game with a 2-0 record. In their last game, Cass held off Gordon Central (Calhoun, GA), 2-0, in a non-league game.
