North Carolina High School Volleyball - R-S Central over Shelby

The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the R-S Central Hilltoppers (Rutherfordton, NC) and the host Shelby Golden Lions (Shelby, NC), saw R-S Central's volleyball squad beat Shelby by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, R-S Central upgrades its record to 1-0 on the year. The Hilltoppers travel to East Henderson (East Flat Rock, NC) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Monday, August 22. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 1-1. East Henderson won 3-1 in their recent non-league bout against Owen (Black Mountain, NC)

The Golden Lions now own a 0-3 record. They play next when they host Ashbrook for a non-league bout on Monday, August 22.
