The Tuslaw Mustangs football team (Massillon, OH), was beaten 21-6 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host Smithville Smithies (Smithville, OH)

The Smithies (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Aquinas (Louisville, OH). The Knights come into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Aquinas was beaten by Memorial (Campbell, OH), 30-0, in a non-league challenge.

The Mustangs now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Chippewa for a non-league challenge on Friday, August 25. Tuslaw will meet a Chipps team coming off a 38-7 non-league loss to Richmond Heights (Richmond Heights, OH). The Chipps record now stands at 0-1.
