The Dewey Bulldoggers softball team scored 16 runs and limited the visiting Caney Valley Trojans to 4 in the Bulldoggers non-league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Dewey improves its record to 7-3 on the year. The Bulldoggers host Berryhill (Tulsa, OK) to clash with the Chiefs in a non-league game on Saturday, August 19. The Chiefs come into the game with a record of 4-4.

In their next game, the Trojans clash with the Salina Wildcats (Salina, OK) in a non-league game, on Monday, August 21. Caney Valley will attempt to improve on its 5-8 season record. The Wildcats come into the game with a 7-7 record after their 4-1 non-league loss to Spiro (Spiro, OK).
