The Pirates now own a 6-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Prague for a 3A challenge on Tuesday, August 22. Sperry will battle a Red Devils squad coming off a 16-1 league win over Beggs (Beggs, OK). The Red Devils record now stands at 4-5.

With the loss, Lincoln Christian falls to 4-8 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Crossings Christian (Oklahoma City, OK) to battle the Knights in a non-league challenge on Saturday, August 19. The Knights enter the challenge with a record of 4-8. Crossings Christian lost 5-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Salina (Salina, OK)
