The Pocola Indians softball team scored 7 runs and limited the visiting Whitesboro Bulldogs to 1 in the Indians non-league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Pocola improves its record to 8-5 on the year. The Indians travel to Lone Grove (Lone Grove, OK) to clash with the Longhorns in a non-league game on Friday, August 25. The Longhorns come into the game with a record of 10-2.

In their next game, the Bulldogs clash with the Caddo Bruins (Caddo, OK) in a non-league game, on Saturday, August 19. Whitesboro will attempt to improve on its 5-4 season record.
