The Nocona Indians topped the visiting Aspermont Hornets volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Friday's non-league test.
The Indians now have a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Iowa Park for a non-league test on Friday, August 18. Nocona will confront a Hawks team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Quanah (Quanah, TX). The Hawks record now stands at 7-3.
The Hornets (1-4) will now prepare for their test against Klondike (Lamesa, TX). The Cougars enter the non-league test with a 6-4 record. In their last test, Klondike was knocked off by Hawley (Hawley, TX), 3-0, in a non-league test.
