In Friday's non-league contest, the Haltom Buffalos (Haltom City, TX) volleyball squad were winner over the visiting Polytechnic Parrots (Fort Worth, TX), by a margin of 2-0.

Next up, the Buffalos face the Monterey Plainsmen (Lubbock, TX) in a non-league contest, on Friday, August 18. Haltom will attempt to better on its 6-2 season record. The Plainsmen go into the contest with a 6-6 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Fort Stockton (Fort Stockton, TX).

With the loss, Polytechnic moves to 0-3 on the year. The Parrots travel to Monterey (Lubbock, TX) to face the Plainsmen in a non-league contest on Friday, August 18. The Plainsmen go into the contest with a record of 6-6. Monterey won 3-2 in their recent non-league contest against Fort Stockton (Fort Stockton, TX)
