The Sam Houston Texans topped the host Seguin Cougars volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Friday's non-league test.
The Texans now have a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Monterey for a non-league test on Saturday, August 19. Sam Houston will confront a Plainsmen team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Polytechnic (Fort Worth, TX). The Plainsmen record now stands at 9-6.
The Cougars (1-3) will now prepare for their test against Everman (Everman, TX). The Bulldogs enter the non-league test with a 5-9 record. In their last test, Everman was knocked off by Haltom (Haltom City, TX), 2-1, in a non-league test.
