The Cedar Valley Aviators (Eagle Mountain, UT) soccer nipped the host Salt Lake Academy Griffins (Herriman, UT), 5-4 in Monday's league challenge.
The Aviators now hold a 1-0 record. They play next when they host Westlake for a contest on Wednesday, August 20. Cedar Valley will battle a Thunder team coming off a 9-1 non-league win over Murray (Murray, UT). The Thunder record now stands at 3-0.
The Griffins (0-1) will now prepare for their match against Juan Diego Catholic (Draper, UT). The Soaring Eagle come into the non-league match with a 0-1 record.
