Johnson Central Golden Eagles (Paintsville, KY) boosters exited the stadium pleased Monday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting Estill County Engineers (Irvine, KY), 3-0 in a non-league outing.

The Golden Eagles (4-0) will now prepare for their outing against Shelby Valley (Pikeville, KY). The Wildcats go into the District 57 test with a 0-0 record.

The Engineers now have a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host East Jessamine for a non-league test on Tuesday, August 19. Estill County will clash with a Jaguars team coming off a 7-0 non-league loss to Lexington Christian (Lexington, KY). The Jaguars record now stands at 0-2.
