The Muhlenberg County Mustangs edged the host Grayson County Cougars soccer team by a tally of 1-0 in Monday's non-league game.
Next, the Mustangs face the Webster County Trojans (Dixon, KY) in a non-league game, on Thursday, August 21. Muhlenberg County will attempt to advance on its 2-1 season record. The Trojans enter the game with a 0-2 record after their 8-0 non-league loss to Trigg County (Cadiz, KY).
The Cougars (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Edmonson County (Brownsville, KY). The Wildcats enter the District 11 game with a 0-2 record. In their last game, Edmonson County was nipped by Hart County (Munfordville, KY), 3-1, in a non-league game.
