The Wildcats now possess a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to East Wake for a non-league match on Wednesday, August 20. West Johnston will battle a Warriors squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Southeast Raleigh (Raleigh, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 3-0.
The Comets (0-3) will now prepare for their match against Corinth Holders (Wendell, NC). The Pirates enter the non-league match with a 4-0 record. In their last match, Corinth Holders notched a victory over Wake Prep Academy (Wake Forest, NC), 2-0, in a non-league match.
