Escambia Gators (Pensacola, FL) boosters left the game thrilled Monday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the host L.E.A.D. Academy Lions (Pace, FL), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Escambia improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Gators host West Florida (Pensacola, FL) to encounter the Jaguars in a non-league test on Tuesday, August 19. The Jaguars go into the test with a record of 0-0.
The Lions now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pensacola Area Homeschool for a non-league test on Friday, September 19.
