The crowd at Monday's non-league battle between the James Kenan Tigers (Warsaw, NC) and the visiting Union Spartans (Rose Hill, NC), saw James Kenan's volleyball squad notch a victory over Union by a tally of 2-0.

The Tigers (3-1) will now prepare for their test against North Duplin (Calypso, NC). The Rebels go into the non-league test with a 1-2 record. In their last test, North Duplin was defeated by East Duplin (Beulaville, NC), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Spartans meet the Spring Creek Gators (Seven Springs, NC) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, August 19. Union will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record. The Gators go into the test with a 1-1 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Hobbton (Newton Grove, NC).
