The Prince Avenue Christian Wolverines softball team scored 5 runs and held the host Apalachee Wildcats to 3 in the Wolverines non-league win on Monday.

The Wolverines now sport a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Elbert County for a non-league battle on Thursday, August 21. Prince Avenue Christian will confront a Blue Devils team coming off a 12-2 non-league win over Washington-Wilkes (Washington, GA). The Blue Devils record now stands at 5-1.

With the loss, Apalachee moves to 0-5 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Winder-Barrow (Winder, GA) to meet the Bulldoggs in a 5A Region 8 challenge on Tuesday, August 19. The Bulldoggs go into the challenge with a record of 2-4. Winder-Barrow won 17-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Bethlehem Christian Academy (Bethlehem, GA)
