The Bristow Pirates softball team scored 5 runs and held the host McLoud Redskins to 1 in the Pirates league win on Monday.

The Pirates now possess a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Berryhill for a non-league battle on Tuesday, August 19. Bristow will confront a Chiefs team coming off a 6-5 non-league loss to North Rock Creek (Shawnee, OK). The Chiefs record now stands at 1-3.

With the loss, McLoud moves to 3-1 on the season. The Redskins host Mannford (Mannford, OK) to confront the Pirates in a battle on Tuesday, August 19. The Pirates come into the battle with a record of 3-1.
