The Sulphur Bulldogs softball squad (Sulphur, OK), was routed 6-0 in Monday's non-league contest with the host Byng Pirates (Ada, OK)

With the triumph, Byng improves its record to 5-1 on the year. The Pirates host Ardmore (Ardmore, OK) to face the Tigers in a non-league contest on Tuesday, August 19. The Tigers enter the contest with a record of 0-3.

The Bulldogs now have a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they host Lone Grove for a 4A District 1 bout on Tuesday, August 19. Sulphur will clash with a Longhorns team coming off a 5-1 non-league win over Plainview (Ardmore, OK). The Longhorns record now stands at 8-0.
