The crowd at Monday's league bout between the Fort Gibson Tigers (Fort Gibson, OK) and the host Checotah Wildcats (Checotah, OK), observed Fort Gibson's softball team get by Checotah by a tally of 7-1.

The Tigers (3-2) will now prepare for their bout against Wagoner (Wagoner, OK). The Bulldogs go into the non-league bout with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Wagoner was routed by Glenpool (Glenpool, OK), 12-0, in a non-league contest.

The Wildcats now hold a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Sequoyah for a non-league contest on Thursday, August 21.
