The crowd at Monday's league bout between the Coalgate Wildcats (Coalgate, OK) and the visiting Okemah Panthers (Okemah, OK), observed Coalgate's softball team get by Okemah by a tally of 8-5.

The Wildcats (4-4) will now prepare for their bout against Vanoss (Ada, OK). The Wolves go into the non-league bout with a 3-1 record. In their last bout, Vanoss tipped Okemah (Okemah, OK), 11-1, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Panthers clash with the Hartshorne Miners (Hartshorne, OK) in a 2A match, on Tuesday, August 19. Okemah will attempt to better on its 3-6 season record. The Miners go into the match with a 3-0 record after their 8-4 non-league win over Kiowa (Kiowa, OK).
