The Grayson Rams softball team scored 16 runs and held the host South Gwinnett Comets to 0 in the Rams league win on Monday.

The Rams now possess a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jackson County for a non-league battle on Tuesday, August 19. Grayson will confront a Panthers team coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Dacula (Dacula, GA). The Panthers record now stands at 3-1.

With the loss, South Gwinnett moves to 1-4 on the year. The Comets travel to Newton (Covington, GA) to face the Rams in a 6A Region 4 contest on Wednesday, August 20. The Rams enter the contest with a record of 2-4. Newton won 14-0 in their recent league contest against Rockdale County (Conyers, GA)
