In Monday's non-league match, the visiting Pioneer-Pleasant Vale Mustangs softball team scored a nice 13-5 win over the Hennessey Eagles.
The Mustangs (1-2) will now prepare for their battle against Fairview (Fairview, OK). The Yellowjackets come into the non-league battle with a 1-2 record.
With the loss, Hennessey moves to 1-2 on the season. The Eagles host Perry (Perry, OK) to confront the Maroons in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, August 19. The Maroons enter the challenge with a record of 3-5. Perry won 8-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Blackwell (Blackwell, OK)
