Putnam City West Patriots (Oklahoma City, OK) fans exited the stadium satisfied Monday as they witnessed their softball team run past the visiting Marshall Bears (Oklahoma City, OK), 15-6 in a non-league match.
The Patriots (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Bartlesville (Bartlesville, OK). The Bruins come into the non-league match with a 3-2 record.
In their next game, the Bears battle the Douglass Trojans (Oklahoma City, OK) in a non-league match, on Thursday, August 21. Marshall will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record.
