The Shattuck Indians routed the host Mooreland Bearcats softball team by a margin of 23-5 in Monday's non-league battle.
The Indians now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mangum for a non-league battle on Tuesday, August 19. Shattuck will confront a Tigers team coming off a 10-1 non-league win over Union City (Union City, OK). The Tigers record now stands at 8-1.
The Bearcats (1-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Waukomis (Waukomis, OK). The Chiefs go into the Class A challenge with a 3-0 record. In their last challenge, Waukomis toppled Pioneer-Pleasant Vale (Waukomis, OK), 2-1, in a league challenge.
