    The McNairy Central Bobcats volleyball squad (Selmer, TN), dropped 3-0 in Monday's non-league battle with the visiting Alcorn Central Bears (Glen, MS)

    With the win, Alcorn Central improves its record to 9-7 on the season. The Bears travel to Biggersville (Corinth, MS) to encounter the Lions in a non-league battle on Thursday, August 21. The Lions go into the battle with a record of 1-6. Biggersville won 3-2 in their recent non-league battle against New Site (New Site, MS)

    The Bobcats now own a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hardin County for a AA District 12 battle on Tuesday, August 19.
