The Greensburg Pirates (Greensburg, IN) volleyball knocked off the visiting East Central Trojans (St. Leon, IN), 3-1 in Monday's league bout.

The Pirates now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they host Greenfield-Central for a non-league bout on Wednesday, August 20. Greensburg will clash with a Cougars team coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Indianapolis Scecina Memorial (Indianapolis, IN). The Cougars record now stands at 0-1.

With the loss, East Central drops to 2-2 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to South Dearborn (Aurora, IN) to clash with the Knights in a Eastern Indiana bout on Thursday, August 21. The Knights come into the bout with a record of 2-0. South Dearborn won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Milan (Milan, IN)
