Mississippi High School Volleyball - Newton County over Enterprise

The Newton County Cougars (Decatur, MS) volleyball overcame the host Enterprise Bulldogs (Enterprise, MS), 3-0 in Monday's non-league match.

Next up, the Cougars battle the Lake Hornets (Lake, MS) in a non-league match, on Thursday, August 21. Newton County will attempt to move on its 11-2 season record. The Hornets enter the match with a 6-1 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Stringer (Stringer, MS).

The Bulldogs (3-3) will now prepare for their match against Southeast Lauderdale (Meridian, MS). The Tigers come into the Class 3A Region 5 bout with a 1-3 record. In their last bout, Southeast Lauderdale fell by Enterprise (Enterprise, MS), 3-0, in a league bout.
