Jefferson County Tigers (Fayette, MS) boosters left the game satisfied Monday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Hazlehurst Indians (Hazlehurst, MS), 3-0 in a league test.

With the win, Jefferson County upgrades its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Tigers host South Pike (Magnolia, MS) to meet the Eagles in a Class 3A Region 7 challenge on Thursday, August 21. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 1-2.

Next, the Indians meet the Mendenhall Tigers (Mendenhall, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, August 25. Hazlehurst will attempt to advance on its 0-3 season record.
