North Carolina High School Volleyball - South Brunswick edged by North Brunswick

North Brunswick Scorpions (Leland, NC) boosters left the game thrilled Monday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the visiting South Brunswick Cougars (Southport, NC), 3-2 in a non-league test.

The Scorpions (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Heide Trask (Rocky Point, NC). The Titans come into the non-league challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, Heide Trask edged East Bladen (Elizabethtown, NC), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Cougars meet the South Central Falcons (Winterville, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, August 20. South Brunswick will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Falcons come into the challenge with a 3-1 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Croatan (Newport, NC).
